Magnus-Hirschfeld-Gesellschaft

The Magnus Hirschfeld Society was founded in 1982 in (West) Berlin to research and preserve the scientific and cultural legacy of the sex researcher Magnus Hirschfeld (1868-1935) and his Institute for Sexual Science (1919-1933). Since 1992, the Magnus Hirschfeld Society has operated the Research Center for the History of Sexual Science. Our library and workrooms are now located at Kluckstraße 38 in Berlin-Tiergarten.
